  1. From what I have been told it will vary from the size of the wedding and the season. Also if the florist is a small shop they will need to have more time then the larger stores. Don't forget that flowers are not always in season.


  2. I'm getting married in 10 weeks and have only just ordered my flowers a few days ago. My florist considered this ample time however I had spoken to her previously about what sort of flowers I wanted. Hope this helps.

  3. I work in a flower shop and schedule a lot of wedding consultations. Usually, people book weddings about a year in advance. They go in and meet with the florist and discuss their wants, and the florist writes it all down in a designated folder. Then he/she writes the date on a calendar to remember it. Its best to get it done early to ensure the florist doesn't have many other weddings the day of your wedding. But, if its a small wedding with only a few bouquets and a couple bouts/corsages, you can order it up to a week before the date (: good luck!
