  1. Im 12 weeks and 3 days, it is also my second pregnancy and im showing already. I also look about 5/6 months gone.

I asked my midwife why i look so big already, she said because when u dont leave long between pregnancies you start to show alot sooner.

I also think that everyone is different.

Im going to buy maternity clothes this weekend as i only have 1 pair of trousers that i fit into at the min.

  2. hi i am having the same prob i am in my third pregnancy only 2 1/2 months i look about 5 or 6 months the midwife told me its because your body already knows what its doing and prepares a lot earlier

  3. with my first child i started wearing maternity clothes at 4 months.  The second time i didnt even start showing until i was 6 months.  So every pregnancy and baby is different.

Dont feel bad, that big belly is a beautiful thing!  embrace it and get yourself some cute new clothes that show it off.

  4. ..its not actually because of bloating, its because the abdominal muscles are stretched and not as firm making you show earlier.

  5. They (doctors, books) say that once you have given birth once then usually you start showing faster the second time around but looking five or six months at almost four months, well....are you pregnant with twins then?  Because that is what happened to me.  I was bigger the second, third and now really....bigger the fourth time around and I found out why, I'm having two babies.  But you are right about it also being the bloating and constipation as well.  I wouldn't worry about it.
