How early pre-show do lines form at Mohegan Sun's Wolf Den?

Headed up to Mohegan Sun this weekend to catch a favorite act. My first time going to the Wolf Den. Mohegan's website just says "seating is limited" and "lines form early" to get into the Wolf Den, a free venue. My question is--how early? 1 hour? 2 hours? Etc. Anyone who has previous experience--would really appreciate your input. Thanks!!

  1. 2 hours.  yeah, its a pain in the ***.  really.  for better known acts it can be longer.  i stopped going on th eweekends and now only go during the week where it may be 1/2 hour to an hour.

be prepared to sit with others and people chatting all during the performance.  i don't go to the den anymore.  i just stand outside and watch as you can see the show from the outskirts.

  2. I have been to a few of the free shows. One time I went and the wait was 30 minutes, but then I went to a Beatles tribute and the wait was 2 hours. So it depends on the act. If it is a real popular act on a Friday or Saturday, you can expect 2 hours or so. Otherwise shoot for a 1 hour waittime.

My best advice is to head there 3 hours early. If there is already a line, then jump in. If there is no line then grab something to eat at one of their million restaurants and when you come back the wait will be less. Enjoy the show and if you gamble too, good luck!!
