  1. not that hard if you have no firewall

  2. ....If yo keep you software up-to-date, and don't run suspicious applications...then it's hard for someone to hack your computer from the internet. ( Those movies and all are very unrealistic. )

Most of the hacks you see ( in the real world ) are flaws in programs that allow someone to exploit it for their own use be it to execute code or steal info.

    Just remember:

    -Keep software up-to-date

    -Have firewall

    -Don't run suspicious applications

-Don;t let someone sit at your computer if you don't know them  :P

  3. Really, in order for a hacker to spend time to compromise your system there has to be something of value to him there. Even if it's just to set up shop and use your broadband connection to spam the world. You can protect your system up to a point and if you shut down your machine when it is not in use you are less likely to be a repeat victim. Opening up emails, downloads, and visiting sites even some recommended by users here pose a threat. My suggestion is to stay paranoid but take action to protect yourself. Anti virus, anti spyware and a home firewall really help. With the firewall you can see logs of the traffic that has attempted to connect to your home network. I use Sonicwall TZ series home firewall and I love it.

  4. Your scared of Hackers. well to tell you the truth you can hack a computer through the internet or the easiest way through notepad. all you need is access on the computer that has notepad and you can do everything from changing administrators, passwords ext. really just take over the computer. you should get a firewall (make sure you have one), spam protection ext. -Sniper-
