  1. Whole Foods for sure. When you get to your area, go to Whole Foods and ask one of the people working their where good vegetarian restaurants are. Usually vegetarian restaurants are more accomidating to wheat and dairy free diets as well as non-meat diets

  2. There are lots of grocery stores that offer dairy free and wheat free products like Whole Foods, Wegmans & Trader Joes but as far as restaurants it would probably be a little more difficult, there may be special restaurants that specialize in vegetarian meals.

  3. It definitely depends on where you live.  Like others said, Whole Foods and Trader Joe's are both national chains that would be very helpful.  If you don't have access to those, you can ask your local grocery store to help you special order things.

As far as chain restaurants, well it will be a challenge, but it really depends on how picky you are.  Most every place will have salad. (Not sure about dressing, but you could bring your own) and you can always order plain meat, potatoes, rice, veggies, no sauce.

  4. Generally, vegetarian and vegan restaurants are more accommodating of special dietary needs and food sensitivities.  Check out a list of these restaurants on VegDining.com.  Here's the link:
