  1. I can only speak for emigrating to the US... its extremely hard unless you have some special skill so that a company will sponser or you find an american spouse.  But you can go to anywhere in the EU which isn't so bad.

  2. I agree with Crincrinapoli about emigrating to the US - it's SOOO difficult (having tried it myself - hubby went on a working visa but we came back before it ran out because I was not allowed to work at all). It all depends on the country's immigration laws of where you're going. If it's in the EU, you can just up and move. If it's somewhere like Australia there are certain conditions you have to fulfill. You need to do some research!

  3. buy a passport at your post office and be on your way or a visa or somethin like that idk.

  4. The problem is immigration (entrance) not emigration(exit). I think it should be easier coming from the UK than from  a lot of other countries. I know that in the US we have limits on the number of Visas we give so -for instance- when Indian highly-skilled worker visas become available they are quickly snapped up. The UK has a high standard of living so people are not dying to emigrate. That should make it less competitive for you.

Where should you  go? --I think a country with a stable government and friendly relations may be a good bet if you have safety in mind. A country where they speak a language you know well would be a good idea.

  5. emigrate--easy!  UK doesn't care if you stay or go

Immigrate into another country....a bit stickier, but you have the whole EU open to you.

Where should you go--what are you looking for?  Something similar to UK culture-wise, or totally different?  same or different language?  similar "social safety net" or totally self reliant?  Nice weather? (well....most places have better than UK)

You have to decide what's important/desirable for you, then look for a place that offers it!

  6. Well its not another country per se.....but I have just moved to Belfast!!
