How easy is it to get a Bachelor of Science if you already have a BA?

I'll be graduating from college soon with an English major, but I think I want to be a botanist instead. To go to grad school they say I need a BS. How should I go about getting it- is there some shortcut route if I just take the undergrad science courses I need? I don't want to repeat college.

Or would I even have to get a BS? I was hoping I could do it like med school, that if I have an undergrad degree and the necessary science courses afterward I could just go to grad school

Who is this "They" that you are talking about?  I don't believe them.  I was able to get into graduate programs in both Philosophy and Finance with a BS in Mathematics.

More than likely, you just need to have had a number of courses in Biology.  Contact the schools that interest you and ask exactly what classes you need to take.  You certainly don't need to get a BS.
