  1. Your best bet is to work in the tourism industry especially in a city that receives the most international tourists like Vienna, Salzburg, Innsbruck, etc. You could work in a hotel or pension that deals mainly with English speaking tourists (work at the concierge or tidy rooms), or a tour agency that needs English speaking tour guides or assistants, or work at an English/Australian/Canadian/American themed bar or restaurant as a waitress. During the summer months, farms and vineyards are always looking for labourers. Here's a good website to look at:

Good luck with your job search!

  2. Easy work for Yahoo they speak all languages. So you can get pay good money to its at bottom of page.

  3. There are immigrants in Austria from many parts of the world. One can work as a waiter. If you speak English, it's not a problem. Austrians speak good English. If English is your native tongue, learning German would not be hard.

  4. If you are from a non EU country I am not sure if a student's visa will allow you to work (officially).

A lot of student's jobs can be found at the pinboards at the university. Also the student's representation (ÖH) can be helpful.

Nevertheless speaking at least a little German would help.
