It's easy. But Windows XP is so much better!

Trust me.. I'm using it right now. I've wasted hours trying to fix problems with this!

But if you like graphics.. then go ahead.

if you can install xp.. you can install vista.

why would you want to, XP is just as good if not better and a lot of programs don't run well on Vista.

Stick with XP. A new vista install takes as long as new any Windows install and since Vista sucks I would stay with XP as I have. I am using Vista on this PC and XP is going on in the next two days. i got this PC as a net PC and it has done nothing but update for the last two weeks. Also as an IT and I also work for the Gov. I have downgraded more PCs to XP for Vista than I can say and we (the Gov) will not use it.

No Windows OS is that easy to install, which is probably among the reasons why it comes pre-installed on a lot of machines.

I installed Xubuntu Linux on a laptop last week and it took 17 minutes in total. And I did literally nothing except click a few times.
