  1. not that easy when they were never found,

    how easy is it to say  2 hen harriers were shot down,

    was it just to draw attention to the  animal rights group & get   in the papers ?


  2. Given that hunters where I live - or should I say men with guns - often shoot lifestock because they thought a cow or horse was a deer or moose or bear, it's probably pretty easy to mistake a hen harrier for a pheasant.

  4. At least James Hewitt's Little Prince has proved to be made of sterner stuff Than Uncle Eddy... Two Harriers shot down on a single Sandringham sortie is pretty good going.

  5. I think that people that are wandering around in the woods with guns will kill anything that moves.  Shoot first, see if I got it right and we can eat it later.
