How much time should I leave between arriving at Newark on the PATH train and the departure time of an NJ Transit train from Newark?

  1. The PATH line ends at the Newark Penn Station, served by Amtrak and NJT, so the connection can be made quite fast, let put it (if you have the NJT ticket) in 10 minutes (but perhaps can be done in five).

  2. at Newark, all you need to do is get off the PATH and go through the turnstile and you will be on one of the five track platforms for NJT

  3. Its pretty easy, just go downstairs after you get off the PATH and get a ticket from the machine... you'll only need 10-15 minutes in between
