How easy to get are crew scholarships?

i'm 5 seat of my varsity boat, but do colleges really care about rowing. also, i'm a junior in hs

they are kind of hard to get yet u have to be experienced!

i also row next to MIT. In the charles river...MIT does care about it they have thier own private rowing for students. and yes belive me it will help u outt.

i'm a high school senior and i was recruited by several colleges to row for them.

getting money to row is pretty rare, especially for big name schools. ivy leagues don't give out any sports scholarships.

usually schools don't give out crew scholarships at all. the benefit of being recruited is that you can try and get into schools you normally couldn't on grades and scores alone.

i guess depending on the school and coach that's recruiting you, you could talk to them and see if there's money there.

Any sport like that will increase your chances of getting into the college with the support of the coach. The availability of scholarships are very limited in crew, maybe the top 5 kids in the country would get a crew scholarship.
