How easy will it be to get my visa from Europe for travel to America?

My country is part of the European Union, and my visa interview is next week. My reason for going is just to visit friends in America. Will this be a good enough reason for getting the visa? I have documents from my university that will help convince them I will return to my country. Thanks a lot

Since the visa will be issued by your country it is difficult for one who has little knowledge  of the situation to advise you. Whatever you do donot pack an explosive in the heel of your shoe.

Easy to come to the USA but difficult to get out alive.  Just be careful where you go.  Many visiters to places like NY take the subway and are never seen again.  Their remains are found years later in some tunnel with their wallet missing.  The local newspapers have no room to even mention it since there are so many murders every hour.  Your name is listed in a booklet published daily for victims, in case someone should care. You should have no problem since you would be traveling on a tourist visa. Showing your documents that you plan to return to your country will help.
