How effective are the Ultrasonic rodent reppeller?

Question

I have seen a brand of VERMATIK ultrasonic reppeller for mice but how effective are they.

These units come in as 4 in 1 or 5 in 1 reppeller

Has anyone used these?

If so please let me know how good they are.

I had ultrasonic devices at my last house and on a scale of 1 to 10 where ten is the most effective, I would rate these as a zero.  They are a complete waste of time.  I think that the problem was that we actually had furniture in our rooms and these devices basically need a line-of-sight to the rodent.

These are the best way to control rodents with out any side effects to environment as well as other animals. As the Rodents respond well to the Ultra sonic sounds it is the best way.

I bought some to use in my garage because I started to have mice get into my project car. I didn't want the interior or wiring to be the  next meal so I tried these. I have one in the car and one on the garage wall and I haven't seen any evidence of mice since. It has been about 1 year since I started using them. So i think they work pretty well.
