How effective is The Rosetta Stone software?

I was just wondering if anyone has tried it and if so what language/levels did you do and how effective was it?

  1. Because of Rosetta Stone I can now say "the man runs after the boy" in German.

    Der Mann läuft dem Jungen hinterher.

    Then again, I haven't gotten that far along in it. =)


  2. It had better be considering how much it costs.
