How effective is it to brush your teeth without toothpaste?

  1. not very...if you don't have any use baking soda,, doesn't taste great but does an ok job


  2. none your just moving the bacteria all over your mouth without killing them. thats why they invented toothpaste too kill all those germs that lie in between your teeth. now if you dont like the taste of toothpste then look for one that has no taste  

  3. You may get the big stuff off but you really can't completely remove all the bacteria without good old fashion toothpaste.

  4. It's as effective as brushing with toothpaste - sometimes, even more effective.  It's not uncommon that the toothpaste creates a barrier between the brush and your teeth, which means that it prevents the bristles from getting where they really need to be.

    The real value in toothpaste is the breath freshening agent, and the fluoride.  You don't need either of those to have clean teeth.
