  1. Depends on the remedy.  Most natural medicine is gentle and takes a little bit longer to work.  With our Western, give me a quick fix, ways people are often not patient enough.

Oral Apple cider vinegar help cure my cats eye infection.  I also used an eye  wash of Xia Ku Cao that I boiled in water then let cool and strained.  It took a week but she is fine now.

There are fab natural products but see an alternative practitioner to get to the root cause so the best remedy can be used

  2. Well, we've got thousands of customers that get a lot of benefits from any of several very popular mood support supplements. Specifically, some of the most popular are St. John's Wort, SAMe, 5-HTP (or Tryptophan), Rhodiola Rosea, and some stress-relievers like GABA or L-Theanine can help, too.

Also, according to studies I've read, the suicide rate is quite a bit higher for those who are on antidepressant drugs (compared to other groups, whether depressed or not) and I've heard about studies that show those same drugs have about the same effect on mood as a placebo. I'd do the research before going for either method if I needed help with depression, personally. Good luck!

  3. natural therapies when given correctly are very effective....it needs to be understood that in natural therapies the imbalance is treated, not the disease....it is conventional medicine that comes up with these name tags, probably why they too have so many misdiagnoses. Unless a person has a sound knowledge of the human body and the interelationship between  the systems they can never diagnose correctly...and this occurs in both conventional and alternative medicine.....particularly those trained in the west, as many schools are teaching much in the way Drs do...this herb for this, this herb for that......yet there are many herbs all with different actions in the body, hence the importance o fknowledge in this area.......I think the American Indians believe that no person should heal before the age of  54 or 55...and I agree...these are human lives, and just a cert or dip does not mean you know what you are doing....that takes years to learn along with life's experiences.
