I’ve been looking for a job for a while now, and was contacted to fill out an application at professionalcareerstoday.com. How effective are they? Are the better than Monster.com? Thanks!

Job boards are only ever the first step. You can use them to find a job, but then you have to do the legwork and follow-up on each application, calling the company and such, to really gurantee yourself a better chance of getting it.

Like all job boards, it matters how much you put into it. The more work you put in actually searching the boards, applying for jobs, is pretty much proportional to the response you will get from them.
