  1. What the h**l is that kelly person talking about. the guys asking about the a/c system and their talking about clutches, fans, and not starting. what a r****d.

  2. HI

If your talking car A/C (air conditioner).. the The electric system only operates the fan and turns the compressor on... the A/C is actually cooled by the motor turning the compressor moving the fluid through the system.

    good luck

    Tim

  3. The electricals are there to operate the compressor clutch, the condenser fan up in front of the car, and the circulator blower in the heater box inside the car.  Those things are powered by the battery which is kept topped up by the alternator (essentially the alternator does all the work, but the circulator fan will run with the engine off, while the other two will not).

  4. well it does have to have fire to run the clutch switch or fan blower... but it dont have to have a battery the car does to run right.. so if your car starts you dont need a battery... check your fuses and wires and turn it on and watch the clucth and if its not kicking in and spinning then its low on coolant really the best thing to do is stop at a shop and have it check easier and smarter.... really too many things it could be and guessing is going to cost you just as much

  5. Are we talking air con or AC electrical mains systems?

Be a bit more specific, we're not mind readers?

if you are on about the air con it's powered from the car electrics and no it does not have battery unless you have some thing very different.
