  1. you can prove to her how responsible you are buy buying a goldfish

if it lasts for (your amount of weeks) you can have a guinea pig

for example if your goldfish lives for 2 weeks you can have the guinea pig and show how responsible you are (i did this with my parents and it worked, i got myself a lovely dog)

or you can just buy it with out your mom knowing

    (we did this with hamsters)

  2. ask your dad to buy it for  you and dont let your mom know until you come home with it. thats what i am going to do=]

  3. Get a gopher.

  4. tell them you want them more than anything!!!research guinea pigs and show your parents all the good things about them then prove to them that you know enough to take care of them.

    good luck!!! :D :D :D

  5. tell your mom about the poor guinea pigs in the shelter !tell her if you get one from the shelter you savings its life ALWAYS OVER EXAGGERATE!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. make a list of all the good qualitys about u bring ur parents into a room and have a serious talk to them about it and tell them that you would pay for everything and beg them them tell them that u would take care of it and love it

  7. 9.I am responsible enough to handle and take care of one

  8. my mom was like that but i ept saying i wanted one and after 2 years i got 2 guinea pigs  (marta & jen)

  9. man just keep begging! it always works!  or do one of.. or all.. the things because that will def help to do stuff! my parents always get me things when i do houde work or get money or i say im responsible

  10. Before you start you pet purchase campaign, be sure that you really want a pet and are prepared to take full responsibility for it.

Think carefully about the kind of animal your household can accommodate and look after. You might be dying to own a pony, but if you live in the city it is probably not the best idea.

Research as much as you can about the animal of your choice. The more knowledge you have, the easier it is to persuade your parents to put some genuine thought to it.

Before approaching your parents, make a list of all possible objections they may have. Try to come up with reasonable answers to all of their concerns.

Be persistent with you request, but always remain calm and polite. Tantrums and tears will only prove that you are not mature enough to look after a pet.

Consider getting an after-school job that involves looking after animals. You could try dog-walking, helping out at your locale stable, or volunteering at an animal shelter. This will help your parents feel more confident about your ability to care for your proposed pet.

If you have a friend who owns the kind of animal you want, invite her over to talk pet care with your parents.

Start off by thinking small. If your parents are adamant that you can't have that guinea pig you are longing for, ask them to consider letting you have a smaller animal such as a goldfish. If you take good care of the small animal over a long period of time, they may reconsider buying you the guinea pig you want. Alternatively, you may discover you and your fishy friend are happy.

I hope this helps and good luck!

  11. Well first your going to want to do a pile of research to show your mom that you are truly interested, and for your own sake of knowledge, and that it's not just a small personal fad.

I recommend saving the money required, and while doing that right a persuasive essay, about the benefits of getting this pet. Make sure you don't nag on her when she's in a bad mood too or she'll just get pi*ssed off and tell you something like "If I here one more thing about those stupid ugly Guinea pigs, then your grounded", and you don't want that.

And then create a massive pro's and con's list of all the components of Piggies, and tell her that you will keep it in your room, where she will not see it. Also tell her that you will be responsible for everything including a possible vet bill. Tell her it's a way of proving your responsibility to her too.

Then start acting really responsibly, and show your parents that you can handle the great responsibility, my dad was very skeptical about letting me have gerbils when I first got them, but I showed him my dedication and persistence, and he went from a No way to a yes.

Print off the info about Ginnie pigs, and all the stuff you need to know, including pictures, and present it to you mom when she's in a generous mood.

Then if you get the Ginnie pigs show your mom consistency, so that she doesn't deny you, and make you take them back to the store :(.

  12. perhaps, you need a farm, or perhaps your parents just don`t like pigs...

  13. Get a goat. He'll definitely agree to trading the goat to a guinea pig in no time.
