How else could U use a hybrid car for?

Question

U could U use an electric battery to help out with acceleration,but use the gas part of the engine to achieve distance and speed as well?

hybrids are the best for city driving, they wont do you a whole lot of good if you are commuting. in that case just get a fuel efficient car. My best friends parents just got 2 new cars, her  dad got a Yaris (not hybrid) because he drives over a hundred miles every day, almost all highway driving. Her mom got a Prius (hybrid) because she really only does city driving. Thats your best bet.

I wasnt really sure of what you meant by your question.... it was pretty badly worded. So I just gave you my $.02 on hybrids.

If my gas bill comes to less than 500 dollars I will convert into motor home and travel around various cities in India and do my social work and propogate the message of clean environement as long I get some sponsor for those activities.but in India!!!The bureuacrats and the government do u think they will allow me to do this?This is an another best subject for mankind!!!now I am 59 years..This dream should not go in the pipe!!!I am sure some topnotches listening to this.

Yes, that is how Hybrids work.

You answered your own question. They work best in town.

But a diesel is more efficient. they get really good MPG, AND better on the highway. AND you can make your own fuel for it.
