How erase recorded programs from schedule in dish dvr?

I HAVE LOTS OF PROGRAMS RECORDED IN SCHEDULE IN DISHNETWORK DVR. SINCE OLD ALREADY COMPLETED PROGRAMS ARE NOT REMOVED FROM SCHEDULE, RECORDING DOES NOT STRAT. IT STOPS RECORDING NOW. PLEASE HELP.

Press DVR

then go to my recordings

click on the right side where it says schedule

then look on the right where it says timers

then click edit list

then just check the ones you dont want

Press the DVR button twice, then the right arrow, select Edit from the menu and press Select.  From the list that appears select a show, then right arrow over to Delete and press Select.

When you schedule a recording, at the bottom of the schedule box there is a place to put how many copies you want to record.  If you set this to say, 3, then the DVR will record three episodes of that particular show and then start recording over the oldest one.  This is good to help automatically manage your recordings.
