How evil is the media?

Question

To broadcast worldwide that a 17 year old girl is pregnant out of wedlock. Have some compassion. Can you picture being that age and having your mistakes featured to the whole world? The media is out of control.

the news is broadcasted it should not be changed to protect a Republican.  Nor should a Republican get off for shooting someone like d**k Cheney did back in 2006

I wouldn't hate the media so much as the people who make jobs for the media.. They are regular people trying to make a living.  They are being forced to find stories or they get fired, in which their families will not be fed if they don't come up with this stuff..  The world has seen so much c**p that nothing catches anyone's attention anymore, so they are forced to get eye grabbing stories.  Would you complain, or much less watch a report on bats flying in a barn upset a farmer?  Or would you be more susceptible to turn and see what the heck a 17 year old is doing pregnant out of wedlock?

Did you speak up when they were doing this to britney or jamie lynn.  This is what the media does, report news.  If people dont watch they change the subject.  There is no bias here this is pretty standard reporting its been done before the election and its being done now.

Ok didn't the same happen with what's her name, Brittany's sister? That is life in the big city! If your mommy is going to be VP then guess what you are going to be in the media too! Same thing happened with Chelsea and the Bush sisters! Everyone is just another $ to them! Get over it!

They are more greedy than directly evil. You could say greed is a form of evil I guess - but my point is they are looking for shocking stories because they love money, not because they love hurting other people - even if hurting people is a side effect.

The media is extremly evil they pretty much run the world they can influence anything they want to happen for instance they are doing the worst thing they have ever done in trying to get obama elected it is true that the media could play a huge role in the demise of mankind and getting obama elected is a huge step in that direction the media is our main source of information and has way too much influence on our everyday lives

Why are you blaming the media? Didn't Palin herself declared that her 17-year old daughter is pregnant but not married? As for her daughter, she should have known the consequences. By the way, if Palin is so proud of her daughter, what's to be ashamed of being broadcasted around the world?
