  1. Depends on your age! If you are under 18 your parents can put you in Rehab. Parents normally take the under age minor directly to a hospital that deals with rehabilitation of substance abuse or excessive anything.. sexual, mental etc... people have all kinds of wierd reasons to go to rehab. Gambling etc....

The reason is seriously abusing alchol or marijuana or any other kind of substance abuse. Mental, alchol. Marijuana, meth, cocaine... many reasons.

If you are over 18 you can put yourself in rehab.

  2. Either the person admits themselves or there family does. Yes one of your parental guardians can but it is up to the person whether or not they want to go.

  3. Most of the time before going to rehab you get into some legal trouble of course having to do with drugs...most people in those situations would most likely rather spend their time in rehab rather than in jail...also rehab could be part of completing probation or parole.....some people just believe they have a drug or alcohol problem and check into a rehab themselves...even though you would think that people go voluntarily in most cases that usually doesn't happen. The only time this situation involves parents is on the show intervention or when the addict is a minor and his parents ask him/her to go and the kid actually listens....

  4. they put you in a suit, in that suit you cant move your arms/legs, cant scratch your body, cant move

  5. The judge. Your parent (guardian) can request you go into rehab for alcohol or drug abuse. Depending on your age. If your a minor your parents. Social Services can also intervene and send you to rehab as well.

  6. usually, both parents and authority (the law, doctors, therapists) agree on the matter of sending a person to a facility.  often times, and especially for minors, sending someone away is suggested to their guardians by an authoritative figure, but of course, parents can send their kids to any facility they please if they feel their child needs it.  if you're in trouble with the law, a judge can order you to go to a rehab facility, and in this case one's guardians are not in any position to make the decision.

  7. There are several ways, here are some of the most common:

    1. You can check yourself in voluntarily.

    2. As part of a plea agreement with the court, as an alternative to jail.

    3. As a condition of probation.

    4. Family members can petition the court.
