How exactly can I make a website?

if i want it to be called banana i would type in banana.com an it would go. and i need to be able to brodcast videos from it, and it needs to be free.

There are many things you'll need to do.  First, you need to buy the domain name "banana.com" from a place like http://www.godaddy.com  There is no free way to do that, it costs less than $10 a year.  Then you need to find a web host which will give you webspace to the internet.  You could try geocities, some ISPs also give you free webspace (comcast if you have them).  Then you need to learn HTML and CSS.  http://www.w3schools.com has awesome tutorials.  That's the world wide web consortium (where www comes from).  Then you need to learn serverside scripting and relational databases, probably php and mysql, which that website also has tutorials for.

You can either learn html code and all that stuff or you can find some free web builder. Like www.freewebs.com

Just register and user there web builder helper. (that sounded really cheese)

First you have to buy the domain banana.com from the owner, of if it has not been registered, then you can buy it for a cheap price around 6-8 dollars at 1&1, then you need a webhosting company, I prefer servage. But if you wanna go free, try out tripod.com
