How exactly do i get internet on my nintendo wii?

I finally got a nintendo wii, but i don't know how to get internet on my wii so can you tell me exactly how to get internet in like steps please?

1. Go to system settings and internet

2. find a network (SSID) and enter info if needed, codes and such...

3.when youre done, go to wii shop channel→wii channels

(get wii points with a credit card or at a or 1000 will do 10$)

4. get internet channel for 500 points and happy surfing

u either need to buy a wireless router or nintendo wi-fi USB connector and then connect it to ur computer.

if you have wireless internet near you, you just need to go into the wii menu, then settings, then internet settings, then have it search for a hotspot.  You may need to enter an encryption code.
