How exactly do you get the imitation key in Resident Evil Remake?

Ok, so I've gotten the whistle and gotten the collar, but when I exmine it I get the top to an armor key that just says coin- nothing out of the ordinary. I know its supposed to be an imitation key, but when I examine the collar, it opens up into a coin.

ok examine the coin where you see a hole the fake key should form then take back to the room where the suits of armor are at then take the real key from the stone then put the fake key in its place so you don't get impaled by the knight with the spinning spikes hope this helps.
