How exactly does McCain constantly confuse the difference between Shia and Sunni Muslims?

Oh there's a big difference. These days the difference is who to kill. Which are the terrorists, and which ones are not.

  3. Most Americans don't know the difference, so why should he be different?

    Traditionally, the Shia have been passive, but that changed after the Islamic revolution in Iran.  Both sides of Islam have radicals we refer to as terrorists.

  4. Turban wearing group of radical fundamentalists that are primarily persian or turban wearing group of radical fundamentalists that are primarily arab. Sunni,s**+'ite not a lot of differences in them. One group follows one groups  as the right-full successor to mohammad the other follows a differ ant group.

    It like 2 sects of chritianity not a lot to tell them apart and its not like either group is rational.
