On a site like PokerStars how does it work gambling with real money? I was thinking about doing like 20 bucks or something, nothing big, because I thought it would be fun to try. Do you hook it up with your bank account or something? Could I do it with a debit card? Can I cash out any time and when I cash out does it automatically go into my checking or savings account? Do they mail a check? Completely new to this and hope some one can help.

  1. Yes it is completly legel. you can play for real money. if you are newbie i would suggest check this site before you sign up, so you get an idea how it works, http://www.pokerdeal.org/

    good luck and have fun

  2. Yes it's completely legal to play it online, but it's not legal to actually run an online casino in the US.  However, pretty much all major credit card companies have banned online gambling purchases, so it's kind of a pain to get money in and out.  E-passport is one of the most common sites now to use for money in/out.  Sign up for an account there, deposit money from your bank there, then add money to your poker account from your e-passport account.  There's a few other options out there but e-passport works pretty well for me.

  3. you sign up using a debit card, or sometimes paypal and then transfer your winnings back onto your debit card or credit card

  4. There are thousands upon thousands of Americans and more worldwide who play online poker for money every day.  Check http://dagus-statistics.com/funding.htm for a run down of common deposit methods and http://dagus-statistics.com/reviews.htm for a list of great poker sites and bonus info.

You can hook your bank account up (either directly to the site, or through an "eWallet" depending on the site) or use a Visa All Access Prepaid Gift Card.  Prepaid cards are probably the easiest, short term way to get your money to the site.

PokerStars has the lowest minimum deposit and also is best with checks if you do not decide to use eChecks.  Hope this helps!

  5. if your just looking to play with that little amount of money and if you havent signed up for many sites i recommend checking  this out.  The site gives out $50 bankrolls to a few sites for free and you dont need a credit card

anyone interested in free $ to play at the top online poker rooms no deposit or credit card needed?
