How exactly does the keeper league option work?

does the commish of the league pick the keeper players in the first season or do the individual owner chose who they want to keep before the second season.

Hi pat,

Owners always get to choose their own keepers.  Most of the keeper leagues that I've been a part of allow you to keep 2 or 3 keepers, and they must be at different position.  If the commissioner chose the keepers then he would just make every other team keep a kicker so that he would have an advantage, which wouldn't be fair.
