How exactly does the sperm know where to go to the egg?

  1. i've read that they are like salmon, they just "know" that they have to swim upstream...


  2. It doesn't.   Which is why it requires hundreds of thousands of sperm -- and usually several cycles of trying, before ONE sperm finds his way to the egg.
