  1. I noticed people getting their drink without the souvenir glass(really plastic, unlike RC)which saved a buck or two per.

  2. All cruise lines offer what are called "Coke Cards." They may have gone up in price in the last few years, but when I used to go on cruises, they would cost approximately $20-$30 and would be used to purchase any Coke product. The equivilent being about 10-15 soft drinks, which if you drink soft drinks at dinner, make it very worth it.

  3. There is a Fountain Club card available for unlimited sodas. Drinks are a little spendy, but not as much as on Disney. At all deck bars, you can get buckets of Bud. By doing this, you save a little. You may want to tote your own bottle opener!! Some people sneak in a pint in their luggage. Even if the cabin steward would happen to see it, he is unlikely to worry about it. They want to treat you as good as they can, hoping to have you back in the future. Enjoy the towel animals each night and bon voyage!!!

  4. Depending on the cruise, prices may obviously vary.  There is an unlimited soft drink card that you can purchase, one for adults and one for children.  I went on a Carnival Cruise to the Bahamas and the unlimited soda card was $30.  Cannot remember what it costs for a child card.  Unfortunately for alcohol you there is no such deal... although they do have some kind of deal where you can get a bucket of beers for a much lower price than if you were to buy it one bottle at a time.  Every day there is a "drink of the day" type thing where there is a fancy cocktail and it usually costs around $8, but you get to keep the fancy glass that it comes in.  Naturally, like most places, revenue for alcohol is something that a lot of businesses rely on and so you'll always end up paying a lot for alcohol.

Be careful because since you don't actually pay cash for your drinks, but you put it on your Cruise card that you are given at the beginning of the cruise, it is very easy to spend a lot of money.

  5. You browse a whole bunch of drink price lists for Carnival here:

    http://www.cruisesavvy.com/gallery/cruis...

it includes stuff like details on the soda card ($5.50 a day +15%), the wine lists, the cocktail lists (margaritas are $4.50)

You can also search for all kinds of different pictures here:

    http://www.cruisesavvy.com/gallery

Just scroll down to the "browse pictures" section, select Carnival, and then select what you want to see (pools, nightclubs, internet price lists, etc.)

Hope you have a great trip!
