How expensive are taxis in Germany or are buses better?

Which is better if you have a lot of luggage and say have about 4000 Euro for two weeks petty. Would you take the bus or a taxi after you got to your destination.

we used buses and trains and they were cheap as chips and reliable!!

To ANSWER your question fully.  if you have the cash and your final stop is not TOO far from the station and you know how to get there so they do not take extra time I would take a taxi if I had the extra money. The buses can be crowded and not much room for your luggage.
