How expensive is it in sophia antipolis, France?

I am planning to take up a job in Sophia Antipolis, France. Right now I am in Amsterdam. How expensive/cheap is the lifestyle their when compared to Amsterdam?

It seems like it is cheaper to live in France.

The cost of living is that of the south of France which is somewhat less than that of Amsterdam.

I did a little google search and found several sites that mention the cost for students of accomodation and food. These varied but seemed to be in the range of 700-800 euros a month.
