  3. Well, bearing in mind Brighton and London are a long way away from eachother, you're looking at a varied amount at the moment.

To be honest it's a bad time to move at the moment, as you're not 30% less likely to be accepted into a mortage agreement, and rent prices have shot through the sky.

I mean, if you're looking for somewhere in the poshest area of Kent, keep 500k back, as a minimum.

  4. Cheaper than in the cities themselves obviously but could you be more specific?  The best thing would be to live somewhere near the mainline station, i.e. Burgess Hill, which is just outside Brighton is on the mainline to Victoria (it has two stations, including Wivelsfield) and just adjacent to the A23.  It is MUCH cheaper than Brighton with quite a lot going on, swimming, cinema, countryside etc., but is 25 mins from Gatwick and 10 mins from Brighton.

You could try re-phrasing your question or adding more detail to get more specific information if you need it.

    Good luck with it!

  5. Try Luton.

  6. Not sure about brighton  ,  but London is dear,  very dear,

  7. Expensive.......You are close to commuter belt territory. An extended 3 bed semi near where I live went for £430.000. Wait a couple of years & it might if your lucky be down to £200,000.

  8. In Brighton - where I live - a studio flat is around £450-£600 p/m and 2 bedroom place can be £750-£800p/m.

If you shop around, there's bargains - I have a 2 bed basement 50 yards from the sea in a cool area for £600 p/m.

Go out to places like Shoreham or Telscombe and prices drop by around £50-£100 p/m.

  9. Around

    £500,000

£450,000 minimum , for a nice surbuban house.
