How expensive is living in fuertaventura compared to UK?

im going there in less than a month and need to know how much to bring

goign for 2 weeks

have booked hotel and flights already

If you your not staying in some brits on the p**s resort and move out into countryside the price of living is markedly cheaper, beer will be half the price of England and if you select menu del dia, you will eat out heartily for about a fiver for two courses, (it usually fish, soup, salad, mojo sauce, bread, sometimes a glass of wine) and is delicious, fresh fruit is also abundant and cheap. If you stay in the resort, wave goodbye to your cash. Learn some Spanish, bring a phrasebook, an easy, good cheap lifestyle awaits you, Spanish people in my experience bend over backwards to accomodate visitors who show a bit of backbone and use a bit of the lingo. Also the bigger proper supermarkets on the edge of town are better value than the small local ones near resorts.  Good Luck
