The land is in ALabama and it has planted pines on it. The pines are not big enough to be logged and they have not ever been thinned out.

  1. Depends upon how thick the brush is and where you live. Mesquite pasture in Texas I would estimate $2000 to $2500 dollars for the bulldozer.

If you live near timber buyer they might pay you to cut the timber.

If it is good big Mesquite a wood cutter might clear it for the wood. If there is a commerrcial one near you.

Estimates from a bulldozier owner are free.

Pay after the jopb is done, not before. A small deposit might be in order but not too much.

  2. Depends on how you want to do it. Burning is pretty cheap. Clear cutting might require stump removal with blasting. That's a lot of money.

  3. depends on where it is and whats  on it

  4. Why pay to have it clear-cut ?? Contact a logging company, and make them pay you to cut it!! Then use the proceeds to pay someone (tree service) to finish it off. You should make a tidy sum, even after expenses. I know a guy that purchased 100 acres; Had it logged, and paid it off in cash before his first loan payment was due !!

  5. Expensive.

    I like pastures.

    Especially cantering in them
