How far along do you think I am?

Question

* Stopped birth control on May 9, 2008 after taking them for 9 years.

* TTC since May 9, 2008

* Last full period was June 14, 2008

* However, there was bright red spotting on July 16, 2008 (not enough for a pad or liner...just noticed when I wiped).

* Postive pregnancy test on August 21, 2008.

* My cycles are irregular so I have no idea when I ovulated.

I have an appointment on August 29 for a physical, pap smear, and ultrasound. I can't wait!!! That's why I am asking your opinions...so how far would you say I am?

8 weeks if the first date of your last period was june 14th. If your period was July 16 you would be about 4 weeks on the 27th of august

The bright red spotting could have been implantation.  So that would be, what, I'm really bad at math, 7 weeks?  The week count depends on if you're counting from conception or from your last period.  With my first, I had no idea when I'd ovulated or conceived, either, so calculating the due date was a bit sketchy.  Just keep that in mind when the end of your pregnancy draws near, sometimes the doctor can miscalculate how big the baby is.  Don't let them talk you into an induction, just let the baby be born when he's ready.  (Unless an induction is medically necessary, of course.  I'm talking about if the doctor has a vacation planned and wants to schedule you.)

i would guess you are 12 weeks from the sounds of it, I don't think what happened on July 16th, was a period but it could've been but my guess is 12 weeks good luck!!! and Congrats!!!

you probly got prego on the 29th or so?? your around 6wks!! my last period was July 15th?? OR? you got prego june 29th and are about 12wks prego. wow this could go both ways..
