How far apart do I space T posts on a four wire barbed wire fence for cattle?

I heard how many animals you have should be how far apart the posts are its a good method we use it never had any of our cattle escape... but if you have a large herd count the feet by fives

say you have 70 cows 70 divided by 5 is 14 so space your posts 14 feet apart a peice

 if you have an even number do it by that you get the picture
