  1. The more cows walk, the more weight loss,

    and of course less milk.

Clever farmers don`t make their cows walk at all or very little,

and bring the water and food to the cows.

    This is called zero grazing.

The pasture can also be managed much better this way.

Appears you live in a dumb part of the country.

I don`t think there are laws on stupidity unless the animals suffer.

    note; aloud means noisy

    with permission, is allowed

  2. i would think it would be, they have to get were they are going some how.

  3. Yes, it is absolutely alowed.  Farmers have just as much right to move their livestock on the roads as you do to drive your car.  Indeed, the livestock actually have more rights than the vehicles do.  If you were to hit any of the livestock on the road with your vehicle, YOU would be responsible for the damages/cost of the livestock.

That's even if the cow causes the accident, during a cattle drive!

I live where there are cattle, and sheep drives on the highway all the time....that's HIGHWAY, not just back country roads!

P.S. Be glad you were behind cattle, not sheep....sheep are much slower.
