How far away do grow lights have to be from the plant?

if its a 1000watt 20 to 30inches if its a 400 or a 600watt 15 to 25inches if its a 40watt tube 2inches

Hang the fixtures 6" - 12" above the plants (12" being the maximum). You can hang the lights as close as 4", just make sure they do not touch the plants. Good Luck!
