  1. Welcome to USU! Greatest School ever! Seriously!

Snowbird is about 3 hours away. Thats 2 hours to Salt Lake, 1 hour to go through salt lake and up the canyon. Thats in moderate winter weather. On a clear and sunny day with no snow on the roads, you could get to Salt lake in 1.5 hours. On a snowy day it could take you 2.5.

Beaver Mountain Ski resort is up Logan Canyon. Its much smaller than snowbird bc it is family owned, but its a ski place none the less.  Powder Mountain is closer too, its around Ogden. Its probably 1.5 hours away.

  2. First off, you're passing a lot of good resorts on your way to the bird.  That being said, plan on 2 hours - 2:15 depending on traffic and weather.  There will be days when you can make it in under 2 hours but then again there will be days (powder days) when I-15 will suck and it will be closer to 2:30.  Always give yourself plenty of time on pow days because little cottonwood can get busy and sometimes it's even might be closed for the first few hours of the morning while they do avie work.
