  1. You must be behind the back line before striking the ball

  2. as long as you stay behind the end line while you contact the ball you are fine, after you contact it you can step over the line.  you can be anywhere behind the line.  the same goes for jump serving as long as you jump behind the end line and contact the ball before you land you can land anywhere inside the court.

  3. behind the service line ( the furthest back volleyball line)

  4. Anywhere behind the endline.

  5. As long as you don't touch the endline you are fine.

Distance = Greater chance for error

So my advice would be to stand still as close to the line without touching it. It's best to take one small step with your left foot (if you're a righty, opposite for lefties) right before you serve, so leave room for that.

  6. "officially" you have to be behind the back line but its best to stay a step or 2 behind it in case you're one of those people who jump or step when they serve bcuz some judges are harsh or dont have good eyesight and they blow the whistle right in the middle of the serve and it just throws you off

  7. behind the service line. in some gyms theres an acception with 1 step in but rarely.

  8. you must be out of bounds

  9. The above answers are correct.  Just in case you are asking the distance to the net, it is 30 feet for junior high and high school and 9 meters (29 feet) for USAV club ball.

You may contact the ball when your last contact with the floor is anywhere behind the line and then land in the court.

  10. behind the serving line

best of luck. my wishes to ya!!!
