  1. Ten feet might not hurt them.  Like cats are normally not hurt by a ten foot drop.

As to your question, why not ask some Democrats how far they can see, that would give you a pretty good idea of.... pardon me?  Oh, I see your point, I just insulted all ferrets by comparing them to Democrats.  My bad.  Never mind.

  2. I have a small dog that's the same way, I think they lack depth perception.

  3. Sorry Darling.....

I am too afraid of rodents to have a clue....

I do know if I see them...

I am so out of there...

    Peace.

  4. ferrets (unless blind) can see 2 and a half ferrets length in front of them.

    They have no depth perception

  5. I'm sorry you have gotten such crappy answers.  lol  :)  This website will explain all you want to know about ferret vision.  http://www.cypresskeep.com/Ferretfiles/B...

    Just a side note:

When ferret proofing look for things that are enabling your ferrets to get onto high pieces of furniture, book cases, etc.  Wash-baskets, other pieces of furniture, boxes, and pretty much anything else can be 'stepping stools' to a ferret and enable them to get on top of higher items.  Bad, bad, bad.  Look out for and correct these problems before one of your little guys gets hurt.

  6. im not sure - mine seem to have no sense of danger! They will take a flying leap at anything.

bluto - ten feet will hurt them - they are different than cats by far

gem - they are not rodents, they eat rodents
