How far can the average person hit a 3 wood?

I can hit mine 235. I hit the 3 wood farther then i do with a driver why is that?

Average golfer hits driver 200 yards.  I guess average person hits a 3-wood about 185-190.

You hit your 3-wood further because it has more loft than your driver and it is shorter.  Higher loft, shorter shaft makes it easier to hit.  

If you hit your 3-wood longer, you should look into a driver with a 43.5-inch shaft and maybe 11 or more degrees of loft.
