  1. Right now about 60 ft. In my prime about 100 ft.

    No air and no flippers

  2. about a 25 1/2

  3. Last time I tried a tiny bit over 50 yards.  On top of the water swimming freestyle I completed 75 yards then proceeded to pass out :-)

If the pain STOPS after you've been holding your breath for a while it's a good idea to breathe, learned that one the hard way

  4. 50 yds, no fins on the pool floor

  5. i can hold my breath for 50 meters, that's the size of an olympic pool.

  6. without flippers- 50 yds (2 laps in a 25 yd. pool)

  7. i can do a 25 and 1/2

one and 1/2 lengths of a 25m pool

  8. with flippers I can do 50meters. 2 lengths of a pool.

  9. I quit competitive swimming 5 years ago, and I can still do 50 metres no fins.

  10. 75 yards completely underwater - no flippers. In fact, as a 50 sprinter specialist, I was forced really hard to work my lungs. That way I could do a race without breathing (or only breathing once) but not be slowed down because I'm not breathing. Most people need to breath at least 2-3 times during a 50 freestyle, ESPECIALLY if they are racing, but if you've been competing in swimming for a few years then 50 yards is usually not a huge ordeal.

  11. About 50 yards

  12. about 8 metres with no flippers

    (that's 26 feet)

  13. I was able to swim a 100m race without breathing, but that will never happen again.  Underwater I was able to get to the 75m wall, then i tried to push off and very nearly passed out.  Black Spots...pretty...
