  1. There is minimal gravity on the moon. So those balls are still traveling.

  2. Using a one-handed golf swing and a rigged up 6 iron, Alan Shepard initially claimed to have hit the ball (on the second attempt) "miles and miles and miles". He later corrected this to between 200 and 400 yards. And the first swing was apparently a duff.

  3. good question

  4. Remeber a couple of weeks ago  when the US shot down a crippled satellite? Well thats why it was crippled , it was hit by that stupid golf ball that was hit off the moon...

  5. Considering that there was no wind resistance and that the astronauts looked like they could jump about 20 feet, I would say that the balls could be hit well over 1000 yards. But the club he used was sawed off to fit it in the ship and he obviously couldn' t swing normally with the suit on and the lower gravity, so I would say he hit them 500 yards at the most.

  6. Very far. How far can you see?

  7. I imagine that  they just floated off into space
