Don't cry if a little weight seems to be a challenge for you on the bike. When lifting weights, resistance is a builder of muscles, think about that http://picasaweb.google.com/EDixon250/ABicycleCarrybasketBikeCarryback?authkey=PckSfTQnaR8

  1. No offence "His Sir Legend Koolness", but I wouldn't plan on riding that set up too far at all. I would humbly suggest changing the bike to a hard tail or towing a trailer. The movement in the rear suspension is going to make that carry back less reliable.

The sky is the limit with good rig.

I'm about to go on a tour, expecting to cover over 600 km (370 miles).  I will have a carry back on with one son in it, and towing a trailer with his brother. (plus gear). All up (including myself) around 150 kg (330lb) to lug about.

I'm expecting that I won't be the only nut case on this tour either. There should be a few towing more!!!
