  1. all you americans will probrably give me thumbs down on this answer but oh well. (im american too ha) but i have roddick losing in rd 2 to ernests gulbis. Gulbis is just far too good all around for andy in a 5 set match

  2. Roddick's had a weird season, but his hard court game's incredible. His serve is his strongest point, and he'll try to use it as much as possible. He missed the Olympics for the Washington tournament, and did pretty well there, though he didn't win. So he's in good form right now.

I really really really hope he does well this time!! I think he'll beat Santoro, but Gulbis could be a problem.

  3. I think he needs to "loosen his grip" on the slam. Meaning that at Wimbledon, he wanted to win so badly he choked. If he let's it happen and focus on one match at a time, he can make a deep run. I also think he needs to try to replicate his feelings both physically and mentally on the court from when he beat the top 3 earlier in the year. I wish his forehand and serve were as big as they were in 2002 - 2004. Go to youtube and type in "roddick vs agassi" and click on the second or third video down. That's what Roddick needs more of.

  4. I wish he could do well, but his game just isn't performing well to the new up and coming dynamics.

  5. quarters or semis id say

  6. 3rd or 4rd round

  7. Given his lingering shoulder injury, he will be lucky to make it into the 2nd round!

  8. i hope very far!!!!!

i just asked the same question today, and everybody seems to think he won't pass gulbis, but hope they're wrong.-

    go andy!!!!

  9. Roddick can get far if he's totally healthy, confident and comepletely focused. I miss the Andy Roddick we saw from 2003 to 2006, that was really the best tennis Roddick has every played though 2007 was really good too I might add. We all know this year has been plagued with shoulder problems. Overall I think Roddick can easily get into at least the quarterfinals, the only thing that can stop him is if he lets someone outplay him and he isn't completely focused. Other than that he could easily make a great run surely to the quarters and possibly even the semi's.

  10. 2nd round- gulbis. hehe

  11. I say he is going down in the round of sixteen.

  12. i hope he does well.. he's had a sad career i think that he never really met expactations... my favorite player though

  13. Gulbis will take him down in 5 sets.
