  1. TIGER'S CLUBS:

    Driver: 285 yards (of carry)

3 Wd: 265 yards (of carry)

    2 Iron: 245 yards

    3 Iron: 230 yards

    4 Iron: 220 yards

    5 Iron: 208 yards

    6 Iron: 190 yards

    7 Iron: 172 yards

    8 Iron: 158 yards

    9 Iron: 142 yards

    Pitching Wedge: 128 yards

    Sand Wedge: 106 yards

    Lob Wedge (60°): 92 yards

  2. Usually just far enough.  Golf is NOT about how far you can hit the ball - it is about how MANY times you hit it.

  3. All of these answers are incorrect.  He doesn't hit his clubs, he hits the BALL.

  4. I can't give you the exact distance for each club in his bag.  The only 3 people who can are Tiger, Steve Williams, and Hank Haney possibly.  I can in fact tell you this: one of Tiger's favorite practice drills is to hit every club in his bag from driver to lob wedge the same exact distance.  For example, lets say he picks out a target 165 yards away.  He tries to hit all 13 clubs (putter excluded) 165 yards with a full swing.  That is incredible.  That takes incredible talent, focus, and distance control.  So the best answer to your question is that it all depends on the situation.  He can hit any club in his bag any distance when he needs to.

  5. It's difficult to say because playing conditions aren't always the same.  I've seen him hit driver 320 yards in the air more than once.  I've seen him hit an 8 iron from 80 yards and I've seen him hit an 8 iron over 180 yards.  It just depends.

  6. tough question as he can hit a wedge 200 yards...

  7. farther and generally alot more accurately than most other players

  8. Go to his website and ask him directly.
